Last transports

- Oversize production line elements

In May, our company moved two oversize production line elements. Loads were transported from Netherlands to one of polish sugar refineries. Width of both loads - 5,5 m.

- Heavy building machines

Last month we've transported two high tonnage machines. Those building machines were delivered from Germany to Wroclaw (PL). Because of loads' weight, special 9 axle modular trailer was used.

- Size matters, but is not an obstacle for us!

In march, V.d.Vlist Polen delivered next part of loads consisting of 7 heavy and oversize elements for modernization of nitrogen factory. Devices producing oxygen, that came to Poland from China on barges, were transported on special modular trailer by two ballast tractors. Because of loads’ dimensions route of transport required special preparations and dismantling of road infrastructure. Convoy was escorted by police and civil escort vehicles. Our two technical crews were responsible for steering a trailer and building a special relieving construction to cross weak bridges on the way, which was a result of loads’ weight.

- Transport of heavy production devices

Last month V.d. Vlist Polen moved 7 heavy devices - equipment producing oxygen. Loads were transported from harbour to factory. Installation came to Poland from China.

Because of high axle pressures, during the transportation of 4 elements, we had to use a special relieving construction designed and manufactured especially for Van der Vlist, to cross the weak bridge on the way.

On some parts of route it was necessary to use second ballast tractor.

- Transport of building machines

Transport of two heavy demolition machines Caterpillar and their arms from Belgium to Poland

Dimensions:

length: 30m, width: 4m, height: 4,3m – machines

length: 25m, width: 3m, height: 4,3m - arms

- Transport of petrochemical device

Transport of rectification column on the area of refinery. To make the transportation easier we used special trailer with two 7axle modules, which weren't connected.

Dimensions: length: 45m, width: 5m, height: 7m = 175 tons

- Transport of heavy device to cement mill

This load was transported from Spain to Poland. To shorten time of transportation, truck was carried by ferry from Spain to Belgium. Although the load looks inconspicuously we had to use 10axle modular trailer because of it's concentrated weight.

Weight of transport: 90 tons

- Transport of pertochemical device to refinery

Transport of rectification column from Belgian Meeuven. To improve manoeuvreity of truck, we used ballast tractor - Mercedes Titan with 9axle modular trailer.
